Fine Art Photography by Emmy C Ludwig
Pretty much anything you might need to know is here, but if by chance your question is not answered here, don't hesitate to contact me!

What camera do you use?
I learned photography with a variety of film cameras, ranging from standard 35mm to several 120 and had a short affair with large format. While I will always love getting my hands dirty in the process of film and the darkroom, I now work with digital approximately 90% of the time. The remaining 10% is spent playing with toy film cameras and polaroids.

Who prints your photographs and cards?
With the exception of very large prints, I print everything myself. This way I can be sure of the quality of work before shipping out an item.  I use a professional quality Epson printer, archival quality inks and paper. Photographs are printed on Ilford Smooth Pearl paper, cards on Epson Velvet Fine Art Paper. Envelopes included with cards are by Paper-Source. One thing to keep in mind is that most monitors will display colors, brightness/darkness differently. My printed photos are how I see and prefer the images and I hope you love them, too!

What type of payment do you accept?
Currently this website runs through PayPal's shopping cart system, which will prompt you to pay with either a PayPal account or a credit card if you don't have a PayPal account. If you prefer not to use PayPal's system, you can still place an order by emailing me directly. From there I can accept Money Orders or Bank Checks, sorry no personal checks at this time. Or if you'd like to use a credit card, but not through PayPal, I can also accept credit cards through my ProPay account by sending you a link to their secured server.

How do you ship your prints, and what are shipping costs?
All photos are packaged inside plastic sleeves in cardboard photo mailers or padded mailers, photos get extra cardboard for stability. Prints larger than 8x10 may be packaged differently. Cards are also shipped in plastic sleeves, and may ship in a box or envelope. Prints and cards in the same order may ship separately.

Within the US
Unless asked otherwise, I will ship via USPS First Class “Parcel” service. Depending on where you live in relation to me (Southern Oregon) it will take anywhere between a day or so, to a week. HI and AK may take longer than a week. All packages sent within the US will be shipped with a tracking number. Insurance is not included but you are welcome to purchase it, and it is recommended with large orders.
if your order is between:        shipping will cost:
$0.01  to  10.00                      $2.00

International
For shipping outside the US, I will use whatever shipping is most economic. As I’m sure we’ve all experienced, international shipping varies due to customs and other delays, and may take anywhere from a few days to a few weeks to arrive at its destination. But I do my best to get your purchase where it needs to go as soon as it can get there!

Are you willing to do custom orders or special requests?
Of course! I would love to do a custom order for you!
In the past I have printed special photos, made color photos black and white or sepia, (and vice versa!) printed special sizes, made customized note cards and gift tags, made table cards for a wedding reception, matted photos, and more... I try to do all I can to be sure you’re more than pleased with your custom order, so please contact me, I’d love to work with you!

Prints
The following is pricing for standard sizes. Other sizes (square, for example) are available by request and will follow the same price guide. Any special ordered print will follow this price guide. **Please note: If you special request a different size of a print you see listed in a "sale" section of my shop, it will still follow this list since I am printing it special for you. Usual turn around time is 24-48 hours. Anything larger than 13x19 must be printed in a lab, and therefore may take a little longer. If you’d like your print(s) matted, please ask for pricing.

Cards
Make your own set! Feel free to contact me and request your own set of note cards... mix and match, or multiples of one image. I'm happy to print any image onto cards for you, and would be happy to make any changes or additions, such as invitations, thank you, birthday or get well wishes... anything! Special color envelopes may also be available. Each card will run between $3-4 depending how many you order.

Do you have a refund/exchange policy?
Refunds or exchanges are on a case by case basis. I’m pretty easy to work with.

Do you  collaborate with other artists?
If you think my work would be compatible with your jewelry, paper goods, etc, and would like to collaborate, just contact me; I'd love to work with you!

Can I use your photos for my own work or in my blog?
All of my work is copyrighted, which does not grant permission to use my photographs or other work, nor can you claim it as your own. If it is a collaboration you have in mind then please get in touch! If you're interested in featuring my work in your blog, go right ahead!  All I ask is that you please link back to my webpage or Etsy shop. And if let me know you mentioned me or my work, I'll link back to you on twitter, facebook, and/or my blog.

Anything else I should know?
One of the most important things to remember when purchasing photography online that most monitors will display colors, brightness/darkness differently. My printed photos are how I see and prefer the images and I hope you love them, too!
